FOR COACHES, CONSULTANTS, ADVISERS AND OTHER INDEPENDENT EXPERTS
For independent experts who’ve built a business that works – and want to grow it without working harder than they already do.
There’s no fixed programme with a fixed result. You say what you want the business to do for you, and we work back from there.
🟢 Doors now open: 10 spots for an October start. Closing 30 September.

Anna Lundberg · Founder of Off Script
WHAT IS OFF SCRIPT?
Off Script is a community for people already earning from work they’re good at, and two things run alongside each other here.
The commercial questions
What you sell, what you charge, how the numbers add up, where the next piece of work comes from when you’re already busy.
The questions about your life
What you say yes to and what it costs you, where the hours actually go, what would have to change for the week to look different.
The things we work on include:
Most of the advice out there assumes you want a bigger business. Here, you set your target.
That means we’re not working out your first offer, or who your ideal client is, or how to build a sales funnel. You’ve done that.
The questions now are harder and more personal, and they don’t have standard answers. What do you want this to look like in three years, what would have to change, and what are you willing to give up to get there.

“It’s a game changer. Expert peers, sprints, and Anna’s warm but no-fluff guidance make it incredibly effective. If you’re ready to stop playing by someone else’s rules, talk to Anna.”
Meggi · Leadership speaker & consultant
WHAT BRINGS PEOPLE HERE

“Regular calls and check-ins to actually help me get things done.”
“After almost eight years as a solopreneur, and in the middle of diversifying my business, I was overthinking every decision and then not doing anything. I was looking for accountability and motivation, and I found Off Script. Here I’ve found a like-minded community to discuss ideas with, and regular calls and check-ins that actually help me get things done.”
Betina · Hospitality consultant & career coach, Off Script member
FOR THOSE OF US WHO'VE GONE OFF SCRIPT
Work hard. Don’t drop the ball. Be available. Say yes.
It worked. It’s why you’ve got the clients and the reputation. It’s also why you’re still answering emails at ten at night when nobody is asking you to.
Going “off script” means noticing which rules you’re still obeying, and deciding one at a time which ones you’d choose again.

“I joined because I love Anna’s way of thinking about busyness, and I trusted she would be able to help me focus on what matters most in my business and life.”
Louis · Psychotherapist & speaker, Off Script member
WHERE WE START
It’s a question that turns up everywhere once you notice it. How much do I need to earn? How many months of savings would I want if the work dried up? How much business development is enough when the diary is already full? How many hours is a reasonable week, and who decides that?
Most of us have never really answered any of them. And when we do hit the number, it tends to become the new baseline and we start looking at the next one.
For one member, enough is the revenue she’s already hitting, earned in three days instead of five. For another, it’s a steady monthly number that doesn’t depend on one-to-one work, so the income holds in a month he isn’t in the room.
Anna runs her own practice term-time, in the hours her children are at school. That’s where she’s got to for now, not a standard to measure yourself against.

“I’m working towards a business that generates the same income in three days, not five.”
“I joined Off Script for the support and accountability as I navigate the shift from working full-time hours to a more flexible three-day working week.
Now, 13 years into running my business, my goal isn’t simply to grow for growth’s sake. I want to build a successful, sustainable photography marketing consultancy that generates the income I need without requiring me to work Monday to Friday, 9–5.”

WHAT IT IS
Off Script gives you Anna’s guidance and structure, alongside a room of people who are good at what they do and generous with what they know.
It’s a working community, not a course you watch once or a membership you lurk in.
Together, we celebrate the new client and the best month yet. But we also celebrate the work you turned down, the boundary you held firm, and the Friday afternoon you took off guilt free.

THE ADVICE YOU'RE BEING SOLD
Scroll your feed and you’ll see the same messages on repeat.
Great advice, if you want to run a company. Many of us don’t.
You don’t want a team of seven. You don’t want to spend your week in management meetings. You don’t want a funnel that needs five people to maintain. And you don’t want to remove yourself from the work, because the work is why you do this.
WHAT YOU WANT INSTEAD
A model you can hold in your head, without five tools and a team to keep it going.
Good margins because the work is expert and the overheads are light.
You stay in the work, because doing it well is the reason you set up on your own.
Built at a pace you can hold, through busy seasons and quiet ones.
WHO'S BEHIND IT
Anna has been building her own independent business for 12+ years. She started her corporate marketing career at Procter & Gamble and then built her digital marketing consulting practice with brands like Burberry and incubators like Virgin StartUps and Seedcamp.
She has written two books with a third on the way, she hosts a long-running podcast, and she has spent the last decade helping independent experts build something commercially strong around real life.
There’s no compromise on ambition here – but it doesn’t have to come at the cost of your health, your family, or your integrity.
Anna built Off Script because the people she most wanted to work with didn’t have a room that felt right for them.
This is that room.

WHO'S IN THE ROOM
“Who else is in here, are they at my level, and will we learn from each other?” It’s what everyone wonders before joining a community like this.
Off Script is a curated group of established experts. Members are at different stages, with different problems and different blind spots. Someone in the room has usually been where you are now, and is willing to say what they did and what they’d do differently.
Members connect outside the calls. Some collaborate on projects or refer each other clients, and the relationships tend to outlast the membership.

“Progress that’s hard to see until you stop and look back.”
“Everything is well thought through, practical, and structured in a way that keeps you accountable without ever feeling heavy. It feels natural and easy while you’re in it, but when I step back and look at what I’ve achieved this year, it’s striking how much came from being pushed to really analyse my business, mindset, and the daily actions that move the needle. The other members bring so much insight, honesty and perspective too.”

HOW IT WORKS

30 minutes, 1-to-1, before anything else. We look at the key parts of your business – what you sell, where the work comes from, and how you deliver it – and work out what you’re actually going to work on this quarter. You leave with two or three specific things to work on this quarter.
Each week you fill in a short check-in on how the week went and what you need next. It takes a couple of minutes, and Anna reads and responds to every one.
60 minutes, alternating between a themed session and an open forum where members bring a question and we work through it together. The topic is published a week ahead so you can decide whether it’s worth your time, and the recording stays up for a fortnight. Drop in when it’s useful. Currently Thursdays, 2-3pm UK.
A structured look back at the end of each quarter: where you started, what shifted, and what you’re carrying into the next 90 days.
An active group of people who understand what you’re building, for wins, blockers and the questions you’d otherwise sit on.

“I’ve found it super helpful to go through the building blocks of my business and ask myself what’s intentional and what’s just habit.”
Lydia · Research director, Off Script member
WHAT'S INCLUDED
If you work for yourself and people pay you for your expertise – consultant, coach, facilitator, fractional leader, adviser, trainer, therapist, freelancer, however you describe it – and you want it to be commercially strong around real life, then most likely yes. The “this is for you if” list above is the quickest gut-check.
The rhythm is built around three key elements: Fortnightly calls, alternating between a themed session and an open forum where members bring a live question and the room works on it. A weekly check-in that Anna reads and responds to personally. And a WhatsApp group in between, where the quicker questions go and where members reach each other directly.
The investment is £275 per quarter. Your rate is locked in and won’t rise while you’re a member.
The weekly check-in takes a couple of minutes. Calls are fortnightly and an hour, and you drop in when the topic is useful. There’s nothing to prepare and nothing to catch up on. The point of this is to help you decide what deserves your attention, rather than to add to your to-do list.
You commit to a quarter at a time. Membership rolls on unless you tell us you’re stopping, and you’re never locked into more than the quarter you’ve paid for.
The topic goes out a week ahead so you can judge whether it’s worth your hour, and the recording stays up for a fortnight. The check-ins and the WhatsApp group mean you stay connected in a week you can’t join.
Your kick-off call is one to one. Anna reads and responds to every weekly check-in personally, runs the calls, and is in the WhatsApp group. Deeper one-to-one work is available separately.
Off Script runs all year, with new intakes every quarter (October, January, April, July). No calls in August or during school holidays – if you’re building around real life, so are we. Doors are open NOW for an October start.
No. It’s mostly women at the moment, which is how it’s turned out rather than how it’s designed. If you’re reading this and wondering whether you’d fit, you would. The questions we work on – what to charge, what to say no to, how to build something that doesn’t take every evening – aren’t gendered, and the room is better for having a mix.
The application exists so we only bring in people who’ll get real value. If it isn’t right, we’ll say so, and point you to something that fits better.
