Leverage your time
(2:00) “You can create ‘more time’, up to a point: by automating and creating systems to handle repetitive tasks, we talked about that a couple of weeks ago, we can outsource or delegate tasks that take up a lot of your time and that someone else can do faster and more cheaply (and, often, also better) that’s what we talked about last week, and you can also any delete tasks, take them off your plate completely if they don’t add any real value to the business.”
(8:52) “If you’re finding that your calendar is full, that you can’t take on more clients, and yet you’re not reaching your income goals, then the obvious solution is to raise your prices. While pricing your products and services at the ‘right’ level can be tricky, and no one really has the magic formula, unfortunately, the truth is that you’re almost definitely undercharging at the moment.”
(12:10) “You want to look at whether or not you’ve designed your business to really give you what you want and need. As much as you can play around with optimizing the type of clients you work with and what you charge, there’s still a limit to the amount of work you can take on, and therefore the amount of money you can earn, with the limited hours you have in your day.”
